Here is a somewhat brief summary of the Mansfield Farm rules and regulation in easy-to-understand language.

Residents are not allowed to park vehicles blocking the sidewalks. Residents are expected to park their vehicles in their garages, driveways, and use the street parking for overflow.

No boat, trailer, marine craft, recreational vehicle, pick-up, camper, travel trailer, motor home, camper body or similar vehicle or equipment may be parked outdoors, whether in a driveway, yard or street (any of these vehicles must be completely concealed from public view).

No loud music after 10pm from homes or vehicles will be allowed which might disturb the peace and quiet of the residents of the community.

No temporary dwelling, shop, trailer or mobile home of any kind or any temporary improvement is allowed on any lot. However, if submitted and approved by the Architectural Covenants Committee, children's playhouses, doghouses, greenhouses, gazebos and buildings for storage of lawn maintenance equipment are allowed as long as they are not visible from the front of the home and meet HOA guidelines.

Animals can be kept as household pets only. No breeding is permitted. Pets must be confined to the rear of the lot or within the house. All dogs must be on a leash when outside the home.  And please, pretty please, don’t let your dog leave "debris" on your neighbor’s yard if you don’t intend to scoop it up.

Signs are not allowed, except for one sign advertising property for sale or rent. Safety signs (i.e. no trespassing, home security) are permitted. Signs are not allowed in the common areas or on neighborhood streets or sidewalks. Political signs are allowed but must be removed within days of the election.

Any part of your home or fence that is exposed to public view must be maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. All fencing is under Architectural Control approval.

Above ground & Inground pools shall be permitted, however, Jacuzzis, whirlpools or spas shall be allowed only in rear yards and fully screened and otherwise meet HOA guidelines.

Trees which have been removed due to disease, death or safety hazard must be replaced with one or more comparable trees.

Basketball goals (mounted on an in-ground pole) are permitted in rear of home only and at least three feet from the alley.  Portable goals are allowed at homes with front entry garages and must be stored in an unobtrusive manner when not in use.  All basketball goals and backboards must be maintained on a regular basis.
